Where do EPICs originate from?? Let's start from the top: Themes are large focus areas that span the organization. Initiatives are collections of epics that drive toward a common goal. Epics are large bodies of work that can be broken down into a number of smaller tasks. Stories, also called "user stories," are short requirements or requests written from the perspective of an end user.

What does a EPIC hypothesis statement look like? 4 main components: Value Statement What value is your product creating and for you and how is it better than other existing products? Business outcome hypothesis As we discussed in unit 9, we create hypotheses to prove our assumptions regarding features.
